Rainbow Loom iPhone Case

iphone rainbow loom goodWe love the idea of making a Rainbow Loom iPhone case, so we hunted down a tutorial by CraftLife.

Unfortunately, we found the tutorial very difficult to follow. The first time we attempted the case it fell apart when we took it off the loom.

We put several more hours into our second attempt, and thankfully our aunt came to the rescue and figured out how to finish it without having it fall apart.

We have since learned that CraftLife has created a revised video for making the iPhone case. We look forward to trying it out, hoping that it is easier to follow.

I made the phone case for my mom because her cases words on there came out and it was fadeing so it was just a purple and black and blue she did not like it at all she said it is so ugly I have to get a case .of corse I thought it was pretty so I went to the website made by mommy and know she has a green pink orange yellow and they have glitter in them and I figured out a way to make a hole for the home screen and pichtures and it is super easy 🙂

I was looking at the pictures that you have for this, & on the front & back you know how there’s holes where you take the pictures from? Well, if I made this & put it on my iPhone, I wouldn’t be able to take pictures from it while it has the case on…….. That’s the only imperfection…….. Do you know a way to fix this? Thanks! 🙂

    • GB Shakespeare says:

Yeah, I agree, but it looks like you could just peel back the case whenever you want to take a picture. It’s not like it’s really sturdy.

      Loom it up, peeps!

go to youtube and type “rainbow loom iphone case” and a case with camera and charger holes should be the second result, if not just scroll down until you find it.

I made this but instead of a hole in the front,I did the same step over and over so it’s. A phone holder. Not a case

This. Is. So. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! too bad for me, WAY too hard. plus, i have cra-z-loom. IT. SUCKS. I can’t make a lot of the simple bracelets because I can’t move the parts of the loom. 🙁

    • Rachael Breedlove says:

I have funloom. It doesn’t move either. All I did was think about it a lot and I made the simple one that I really thought I couldn’t. Mine stays in the zig-zag pattern.

    • Rachel says:

Hey Loom Love- it’s me again. I’m on my FIFTH attempt doing this. I finish my fifth row of looping the bottom row and then I move onto looping again and taking them off. It keeps falling apart! I triple check that the band looped the bottom one and it just falls apart!! I’m really really mad. Can you help me? Or better yet, just make a tutorial yourself? 🙁

    Hi Loom Love! ~again!~

On my 14th attempt Im finally past the parts I messed up! Mine is black and rainbow! I’m feeling much more comfortable with making the case! I even the started a club at school and a whole bunch of people are SUPER excited! 🙂

    ~Rachel 🙂

Ya funloom doesnt move either but I have thought long and hard about how to make the simple bracelets. My loom stays in the zig-zag pattern, but I have made ones that needed three straight. You can do it with zig-zag. All you have to is think, if a 13 year old (me) can do it you could to. If you mess up try try again 🙂

Loom love, they created a new one for iPhone 5 and it has the lightning connecter charger hole and a camera hole.

i think that it is cool but how do you press the home butten and the volume butten and the lock butten.thats my question and how do you make the sides not pokey

  12. dizzy izzy says:

I love this idea but it takes a LOT of bands. My advice is that if you are running low on bands and need to get some more, I would say get three packs.

  13. norah skog says:

Hi loom love. Do you think it could fit on a iPod 4. I really like the style and am a good loomer. I can make the unicorn cat shark panda and poodles and turtles and some brackets. The rainbow loom is the best loom:)

  14. Bumble Bee says:

    Hey Loom Love,
I don’t know how to do it because I have a Fun Loom and you can not pull it to smithereens. I really really love this but I just can’t work it out. Is there a video for a Fun Loom IPod case?

    Yours Truley Bumble Bee

I’m selling phone cases at my school for $10 each. I think it’s a pretty great idea, but a lot of people either didn’t like the price, the case, or didn’t need one 🙁 Only one person has actually ordered a case.

  16. monroe says:

I love this and to watch the video there is letters in purple that say tutorial by craftlife and it is really good and if you follow the steps it will turn out amazing

  17. Loomy Leopard says:

I did this in one go. Yay me!! I have an iPhone 3GS so I made a few changes in the length and the camera & charger hole – yes, I used the tutorial that shows you how. For the color & pattern I used 2 blacks, 1 turquoise, 2 blacks, 1 yellow… etc.
I hope anyone else that tries this doesn’t find it too hard, cause when I first saw this video I was like o.O -W. O. W. and now I’m like ^- ‘^ -Phew, I did it!!!!! AWESOME.

Hi LoomLove! I absolutely loved this tutorial! It was a tad difficult at first, but once I got the hang of it it was fairly easy. I love your colour choices! I was really happy when it fit my iPod 4, and I went and made a couple charms to attach to it. Love your web!!

    • #looming_mad says:

Yeah, it works for iPhone 4. I tried it on mine. Although it fell apart the first time I made it. LOL 😀

  21. Rosie says:

Hey, one of my friends is coming back from her vacation, and I wanted to make an iPhone case for her. Do they have a tutorial for a galaxy phone?

  22. Brianna says:

Hi! Would I be able to make one for the iPod 5? I don’t have an iPhone so do I make it a few pegs shorter for iPod? Or is it the same size as this one?

  23. Jeanie Woo says:

How am i going to take pictures and selfies as there are no holes on the case. But overall its a perfect gift for my siblings.
