How to Make an Ice Skate Charm

skate charm rainbow loom

We love ice skating! Unfortunately, we’ve had a mild winter and there is no ice to be found. Hopefully, the temps will drop soon and we’ll get a good old fashioned Canadian winter!  Meantime, we decided to make a little Ice Skate Charm. The design and tutorial is by Jordantine1. It’s easy and clever!

Lovin’ this charm. Unfortunately, I don’t know how to ice skate.
:(. But it was ingenious of Jordantine1 to use a paper clip for the blades. Do you have any tutorials for loom bands that are sort of easy, but not as hard as the starburst?

    Thanks a lot,

Alicia Cacao, you can check out the easy or challenging section by hitting the “rainbow loom tutos.”

      Hope I could help!

Here in London we’ve also had a mild winter… no snow!!! Last year it snowed, but only for one or two days, still really fun! Its really warm here, usually it feels like its 0 degrees Celsius because of the cold winds but its actually about 8 degrees Celsius! What a clever idea jordantine1, adding a paperclip! It looks so realistic with the paperclip 🙂 Loom Love, can you please add more new bracelets? Its been a while since you posted one and I’m more of a bracelet person than a charm person.

Where I live, the good old-fashioned Canadian winter has already started… Freezing out there. I have gone skating a few times this year but today I am just staying cozy warm inside with a good book and a Rainbow Loom!

I’ve tried a little bit before…but I guess my right hand and left hand are just too different in terms of dominance, because one hand always ends up looking terrible. Some posts on that would be great, Loom Love, so I can maybe end up with something ok-looking.
