    It. looks. Cool!!!!

The first time I tried the charm with a hook is a flower. when I make the circle it was a mess! And when I followed this video, (I don’t care about fastness but clearness!) I realized that I should put my hook to the capping band, not the outside bands (That i did for the flower xD

I used White for the middle, then teal, then jelly turquoise and fuschia for the outside. It was amazing!!!! 😀

I wonder why this is called a Granny Square. If you made it even bigger on the outside, you could make it a rug! ????

Yeah your correct that is what you do when you crochet it you can make heaps of little ones then put them together to make a big rug or you can just make one big square and thats a rug itself.

I l<3ve This design, It Is So Pretty! But, She Doesnt really explain it propperley and she makes it sound too confusing and also she talks way too fast!!!

  7. Genny says:

very cool! However, way to fast! Even as an experienced crocheter I had to stop and start over several times because I couldn’t keep up!

Dude just found your site, been making loom bracelets for my ABJD’s but am thinking of making myself some custom pieces. I’m gonna need to get the BIG bags of rubberbands if they have them, once I get my own loom so I can try this. XD How awesome would it be to have a doll bed with a rainbow loom QUILT?

…. Well that’s what I was thinking if I ever do the granny squares. That’s what my grandmother did when she actually made granny squares, she’d make a bunch then make them into quilts.

    • Loomlover says:

You need to put your hook through two squares, attach a loom band, and make a slipknot, but do not take the slipknot off your hook. Go through the next two squares and do the same, except this time taking the slipknot band that was on your hook through the band too. Then slipknot that band. Repeat to desired length

This one is pretty but i think that the crochet granny square is easier, faster, prettier and more useful than this one…
