How to Make an Ice, Ice Baby Bracelet

ice ice baby

Claire’s Wears strikes again! The Ice, Ice Baby is definitely one of our new favorite designs. What a brilliant use of C-clips!

This hook only design is two sided and super comfortable. Here’s what it looks like on the other side:

This is a good question. Yes you can as s-clips serve exactly the same purpose as c-clips. I would also say this is great if you need to use up clips. Hope your bracelet turns out well. ????

That seems kind of mean. I know you were thanking Maddie and Emily for posting this (oh, and Claire was the original designer of this bracelet, not Loom Love, by the way), but it’s not nice to call people the “unpopular girls,” and designate people as popular and unpopular. Yes, I’ve been through middle school too, so I am well aware that there are some girls who are just “popular” and others who, well, aren’t, but it just isn’t nice to say “these girls are popular, these girls are unpopular,” etc. Trust me. Also, I don’t think you should actually post the names of these people at your school. What if they saw this (especially if they were designated as unpopular)? To keep the privacy of your classmates, and to keep feelings from being hurt, just by chance, you shouldn’t tell the world the names of these people. Thank you. I’m sorry for such a long comment, but because of personal experience with this sort of thing, I just wanted to let you know what I think about this.

I agree. I’ve had some bad experiences on the Internet, and it’s probably best not to reveal your friend’s names online. And just to let you know, you should never feel like you need to be popular to feel happy with yourself; I have had problems with that kind of thing (worrying too much about how other people see me) and the important thing is to be happy with yourself and not rely on whether other people are happy with you (I know that’s not easy to do, but it’s important). I don’t mean to be annoying or anything, just express my thoughts and let you know.

Hey. Thank you so much for this tutorial. It was totally amazing! Every other bracelet has irritated my wrist but this one does not. I think that the c clips are MUCH smoother. I can say that I know what I’m talking about because I am an expert loomer. I only use rainbow loom brand bands and clips because of the great quality. Every year my brother and I make hundreds of bracelets and sell them for a charity that we personally participate in. This will definitely be a new favorite. I love it so much! Thanks again!!!!

  5. Kool Kid says:

I haven’t started it yet, but I will. It looks really cool. And Sophie pesch,I know that you will need only enough c-clips to fit YOUR wrist. Plus, Abigail, I don’t think you are Proffesor Mcgonagall’s mother, so don’t be bossy. Cuz all she wanted to say was that she was thankful for the tutorial, and that it impressed certain girls at her school. And I am not popular at all at my school, and there are girls more popular than I there too. But I still impress them with my original degsigns, and other people’s degsigns. And so what if she want to say their names? It’s HER choice. And Bridget, I don’t know if I’ll have enough c-clips ether:)

  6. Kool Kid says:

What if u used colored c-clips instead of clear? That would look really cool+Claire’s wears said u have to use as many bands/c-clips as u need.

  7. Lauren says:

Hey Maddie and Emily, do you have any advice for someone starting a blog? I’m thinking of starting one but I’m not sure where to begin. I need a safe platform to use as well, and as there are so many out there it’s really hard to pick! Anything you would recommend or tips that you have? Thanks so much!

  8. Kool Kid says:

Btw, ILYSM stands for I love you so much. And at the time of commenting,(my most recent comment)I had’nt gotten to the part of the tutorial were she says you can’t use colored c-clips in place of clear. Also, I don’t remember reading Lauren’s comment at the time of commenting that whole “ah ah ah!” to Abigail. First of all, I feel sorry for sorta copying Lauren’s comment, and, giving a lecture to Abigail, about giving a lecture to Professer mcgonnagol. Btw, I ABSOLUTLEY ADORE Harry Potter books, athough, i’ve only gotten to the 4th 1. Whenever I go to my BFF’s house, we play Harry Potter as if Hermione Granger and Ginny Weasley were the main charachters. of corse, most everything is what it’s like in the book, like Harry is still popular, Ron is still his friend, snape is the same, so is Hagrid, Dumbledore, well, basicly everyone. We make up our own things, instead of following what the book says, but sometimes we take somthing from the movie, or the book, and we change what happens after that. Her big brother made wands for us, (us being Me, My Friend and My Brother) my brother plays Ron, but like, 1 month I’m Ginny, and She’s Hermione. or 1 month, I’m Hermione, and She’s Ginny. Right now, I’m Hermione, And She’s Ginny. Right now, Ginny is her fav character. My fav character is Hermione:) Not to brag, but I can do REALLY good impersoations, so whenever another character comes in (except for Ron, Hermione or Ginny) I do their voice. I’m part scottish, so Hagrid is no prob. Snape is Really easy too. cuz, even my brother can do it. If her bro decides to play, he is normally Mallfoy. I haven’t seen the 3rd, 4th,5th, 6th, 7th, or 8th movie yet but, the 2nd movie was AWESOME!!!!! She has two dogs, a black mutt, and a ginger puppy and I don’t know her breed. And the puppy plays the caretaker’s cat, and when we play boxcar children the black mutt is watch. the ginger puppy is one we pretended to find hurt on the side of the road, that we nused back to health. I normally play Jessie, and my Bff plays Violet. my bro plays Benny and her bro plays Henrey. (that is if he plays along. If he plays he’ll normally call himself Booty Bum Cheeks, or Bushy.)
