LoomLove.com is excited to announce that we are having a contest!!

Your challenge is to come up with a wacky Rainbow Loom bracelet. The weirder and wackier the better! Let your imagination fly!

We are looking for bracelets, not charms, not rings, not key rings or action figures.

Remember, we want WACKY bracelets!!!  Add dry macaroni, dental floss (preferably unused), cut the rubber bands, tie yarn to the bands, cover them in paint, glitter, sequins, stickers … do whatever you want, but be creative!!!

Use an existing bracelet and modify it to make it wacky- or create your own.

The winner will receive an awesome loom band storage case filled with approximately 4,000 loom bands – many of which are rare. It includes tie dye, metallic, neon, glow in the dark, jelly and clear bands.

To enter, subscribe to our Youtube Channel and Like us on Facebook. Then email us a photo of your wacky bracelet to info(at)loomlove.com or upload a photo of your creation to our Facebook page with the hashtag #loomlovewacky. You can also enter via Instagram with the hashtag #loomlovewacky.

Deadline for entry is 11:59 pm Eastern, Feb. 1, 2014.

We will post our top 20 faves on our Facebook page on Feb. 2. LoomLove Facebook fans will have until 11:59pm Eastern, Feb. 7, 2014 to vote for the winner. The bracelet with the most Facebook votes wins. Contest winner will be announced Sunday February 9, 2014. Contest is open to residents of the US and Canada.

    Awesome contest LoomLove! Love the idea!! Just one question: when you say ‘make a wacky bracelet’ do you mean create an original design? Or do you could you enter an all ready made up bracelet and use wacky colors? Thanks!!!!

      You can create an original design, or modify an existing design to make it wacky. As we stated in the post:

    Dear LoomLove,
    I want to compliment you on the clear contest rules for the Wacky Bracelet contest (unlike those recently posted by AC Moore for their Stretch Band contest.) I would respectfully request that you require contestants who base their creations on the designs of others to give credit to the original designer or tutorial they used by including the name of the Designer or Tutorial maker as well as the name of the bracelet pattern. As you well know, designers (and tutorial makers) often spend a lot of time and devote a lot of creative energy to their work. They are talented artists who ask nothing in return except the recognition they have earned. Non-recognition is becoming a huge problem in the looming world, but one that you could help mitigate by setting a good example. Your contestants most certainly deserve credit for their creations but so do those who inspired them. Giving credit to one’s inspiration in no way detracts from the loomer’s artistry and raises the level of the competition to an ethical standard consistent with the quality of the LoomLove website and its founders. Thanks. :o)

    Is there any age limit? My 4 year old brothers have their hearts seat on entering. They can make singles, fishtails, dragon scale cuffs, zippy chains, the rainbow ladder, and a lot more. One’s already made his…..it looks REALLY wacky!!!

    I’m sorry Loom Love, I know that there is so many questions about this contest, and you don’t have enough time to answer them all, but I’m speaking for almost everybody when I ask:
    Is it okay if I don’t have a YouTube account, because I don’t have to do that step, as long as I like y’all on FB, right?
    And it’s okay if my mom likes you for me, and it’s alright if my mom sends the picture from her email account, right?
    Also, is it alright if me, my sister, and my 2 brothers all send our different creations from one email, our mom’s?
